The Birthday Queen

This picture totally fits E's personality!  I told her this morning to go brush her hair.  And she did...but she also came out with this tiara on her beautiful little head!   She is so spunky and sassy!  Very confident and independent!  Extremely loud and enthusiastic!  Beautiful and smart!  A good friend and great big sister!  Full of laughter and hugs!  God really blessed us all when He gave us this sweet girl.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS!

Growing up way too fast

Our little baby is growing up way too fast.  He is a little boy now...not much of a baby.  The picture above says it all!  He is using so many new words and expressions lately.  Sometimes when he talks (and I'm not looking) I think it is one of the older kids.  He also loves to make us laugh and is such a ham!  Of course, he is always on the move...running, climbing, jumping, and making messes!  ALL BOY!  He also has the battle scars to prove it!  Seems like he always has a cut or bump...notice the band-aid above.  He won't keep his hands off the cuts, he picks at them and makes them worse!  He is so much fun right now...I love this age...he is learning anf changing so much!  So glad that he still like to cuddle with Mommy though!  He will always be my baby!

Mardi Gras

The kids had Mardi Gras parties at school...instead of Valentine parties.  The pre-k classes made minature floats and had a parade around the school.  Of course, lots of beads were given out and king cake was eaten!  (The snow days kind of messed up the party schedule so the MWF pre-k class had to have their party on Ash Wednesday after Mass.)

Blue and Gold Banquet

Ok...it looks like I have fallen behind in blogging, as in so many other things in life right now.  So I will start with the most recent and try to catch up!

Our cub scout had his Blue and Gold banquet last night.  The lads and their dads had to make dessert for the dinner.  B wanted skittles on his cake...so they decided to make a blue cake mix with gold/orange icing and skittles writing out 100 (for the 100 years of scouting).  Chad and B did all the work on the cake.  Wish they had done the clean up too!  =/

B got several awards including his bear badge, several arrow points, and the 100 years of scouting award and ribbons.  He has had a busy year of scouts earning many belt loops and pins...both in academics and sports.
